How it works

From an objective to work you can check.

This page describes how the service is designed to run. It is delivered first as scoped pilots, with people involved at every step.

  1. Brief

Send a sentence or two about the outcome. We reply with questions about the deadline and what a good result looks like.

  2. Scope & approve

We write the steps, the access each step needs, the expected cost and the points where you decide. You can change or decline any of it.

  3. Research & execute

Approved work runs. Anything that would leave your business waits for you.

  4. Verify

Results are checked against their sources. Problems are reported, not hidden.

  5. Deliver & review

You receive the output with sources and receipts, and decide what happens next.

Status you can read

Every piece of work is in one plain state.

You should never have to guess whether something happened. Work moves through these states in order, and “attempted” is never reported as “done”.

  • Draft
  • Scoped
  • Awaiting your approval
  • Queued
  • In progress
  • Being checked
  • Completed

Work can also end as needs review, failed or cancelled. Each of those comes with the reason and a safe way to retry.

The record

What you get with each task.

  • The outcome you asked for, who owns it and the deadline
  • Which tools were authorised, and for what
  • Sources for researched facts, with dates
  • A receipt for every action taken outside our own workspace
  • Your review decisions
  • What it cost
  • Exceptions and open questions

Your pace

Three ways to work with it.

These are the modes the product is being designed around. During pilots, we provide them by hand.

Do it with me

State the outcome. We handle plans, drafts and approved actions.

Guide me

We explain the choices as we go, so you learn by doing.

Expert

Set tools, permissions, schedules and budgets yourself.

Next operation

Every mission starts with a briefing.

Name the objective. A person reads it and replies with whether we can help, how we would do it, and what it would cost.
